How Can You Help Support Cabuya Library?

Attend or volunteer for our programs
Even though the physical building of the library doesn't exist yet, we are already running programs in the community for a small attendance fee, or by donation. You can attend these programs, advertise them to family and friends, or volunteer to help run them. The money earned from these programs goes to program materials and expenses, and any excess gets put aside for the construction of the library.

Donate Construction Materials or Labour
The library is in need of donated or discounted construction materials and labour. We are looking for two used rail containers in good condition. We need to prepare the land so that it has good drainage, and build a platform to place the containers. We also need to fence the land, and transport and place the containers on the platforms once we acquire them.

Donate Program Supplies and Materials
Cabuya library needs materials and supplies in order to run our programs, keep program quality high and costs low. We are looking for donations of Spanish language books for both children and adults of all types, and English language books for children and teens. Everything from board books and picture books, to young adult novels would be joyfully accepted. We also need board and card games suitable for all ages, as well as toys, puppets, and craft materials. All of our programs would benefit from donations of notebooks, pens, pencils, and erasers. We could make good use of a printer too.

Financial Donations
Of course, anything that doesn't get donated we will need to purchase. If you are in the position to help Cabuya Library with a financial donation you can do so in a manner of ways.

Anyone, anywhere can donate to agarand8@hotmail.com through PayPal, as long as you assume the fees.
