Children's Programs

Toddler Storytime
Caregivers are invited to bring their toddlers on Saturday mornings to storytime with Kylie where we will sing, dance, rhyme, and read stories together in English.

Pre-K Storytime
Caregivers are invited to bring their Pre-K kiddos every Saturday morning to have storytime with Kylie. We will read storybooks together, sing action songs, and play games all in English.

Family Games Night
Board games are a sneaky way to mix education with fun! Bring your family to play our games and see an improvement in reading, math, logic, and strategy for everyone!
Learn to Read
This program is for students who are reading below grade level in either English or Spanish. We can work on this together to improve quickly!

Adults Only Games Night (16+)
Life is busy, and grown-ups need space to play, too. Our Adults-Only Games Night is a welcoming, alcohol-free space to relax, connect with others, and enjoy a fun evening of games, conversation, and community.

Adult Book Club (16+)
Join us twice a month for a cozy evening of conversation, book recommendations, and book swapping. Adult Book Club is a relaxed space to share what you're reading, discover new stories and connect with other readers in the community.
Language Lessons
Cabuya Library offers personalized one on one language lessons for both Spanish and English to those over the age of 16. Lessons are affordable at 4,000 colones/hour, and come with digital materials and homework catered to your interests and lifestyle.
Learn to Read
Our Learn to Read program is for adults who didn't have the opportunity to finish their education, or who would like to be reading at a higher level. We will work together, at your pace, to ensure your success. Cost is on a case by case basis.
